Whilst administration is a part of any organisation, we try to keep these costs at bay. Our staff are volunteers but of course, we do have bills to pay such as rent, power, domain and website hosting, software licenses, etc. Any grant money we receive goes directly to the intended program or event. Donations we receive help to facilitate free mental health, well-being and allied health support. At times, The Noledge House may use third-party organisations to deliver programs and/or services, but only to continue the delivery of free mental health, well-being and allied health services and programs.
Yes. Any donation over AUD$2.00 is tax deductible. The Noledge House is a registered charity with the ACNC and has DGR Status.
The Noledge House is an Australian (Queensland based) charity and not-for-profit organisation that provides prevention-focused mental health, wellbeing and allied health support services, programs, workshops and sector education. Our aim is to reduce emergency mental health presentations into our EDs.
Holistic wellbeing is considered to be the balance of our physical, emotional, social, spiritual, occupational and intellectual health. During our program you will focus on the following domains: Mental Wellbeing, Social and Friends, Family and Inner Circle, Physical Health, Interests, Budget and Cash Flow, Personal Growth, Love and Relationships.
In short, everyone! We use an holistic approach with our services and programs to look at the person and not just their mental health needs. Holistic Wellbeing is: accountability, self-regulation, and responsible decision-making that leads to a balanced, healthy, happy life. If you are stressed-out, tired, irritable, overwhelmed, anxious or depressed; if you suffer from PTSD, addiction or any other mental health issues, it is important to look at all the factors that may contribute to illbeing. A holistic approach to your issues will support other interventions such as medication.
Whilst we endeavour to seek funding to cover all costs of programs, workshops and sector education, this is not always possible. Some of the workshops and sector education does come with a fee to cover consumables and professional facilitators. However, this is generally only in the case of a corporate presentation. Community-based participation is generally free.
Your first stop will be your phone or computer. Email us at grow@thenoledgehouse.org and introduce yourself. Our Holistic Wellbeing program is online and available nationally. Other information is available on this website and throughout our social media.
